The SVD-30 is a self-loading rifle designed by Degtyarev in 1930, released in a limited series, and is an improved version of the 1926 model. This variant has been enhanced in several aspects: it is lighter in weight, the safety mechanism is more reliable, the extractor is strengthened, and the sight line is extended. The rifle is equipped with an optical sight mounted on the left side of the receiver. The SVD-30 uses 7.62 mm caliber cartridges and is fitted with a 5-round magazine.
