Set in a post-Soviet city in the early 90s during a severe economic crisis, the story follows Alexander, an ordinary engineer, and Christina, a 12-year-old girl with a troubled past. When a moment of negligence leads Alexander to accidentally kill a man, Christina becomes the only witness. To avoid the consequences, Alexander conceals his crime and convinces Christina to keep silent. In exchange, she asks for his help in resolving her own problems. What starts as a mutually beneficial agreement soon spirals into a gripping and intense tale of moral choices and unforeseen consequences.
